Zimbabwe’s Vice President Kembo Mohadi has arrived in Zambia for a two-day working visit.
Speaking on arrival, Retired Colonel Mohadi said bilateral relations between Zambia and Zimbabwe remain strong, with the two countries sharing many opportunities for economic development.
He explained that part of his visit includes paying tribute to the fallen heroes of the liberation struggle at the Kavalamanja–Kakaroo Liberation Heritage Site in Luangwa District.
The site is where Zimbabwean People’s Revolutionary Army regulars and Zambian soldiers were buried following an attack by the then Southern Rhodesian government in 1978.
