259 Arrested in Kalumbila Mob Killing Case

Two hundred and fifty-nine suspects have been arrested in Kisasa Area of Kalumbila District following the mob killing of a woman.
This brings the total number of arrests in the case to two hundred and seventy-six.
North Western Province Police Commissioner Bright Siwale confirmed that the arrests were made during a police operation. Speaking at a press briefing in Solwezi, Mr. Siwale said investigations are ongoing and urged the public not to shelter criminals. He added that officers have been deployed in the area and emphasized that police will not tolerate lawlessness in the province.
Meanwhile, the family of the deceased has called on police to ensure all those involved are brought to justice. Family representative Enock Kyembe stressed that everyone who participated in the mob attack must face the law.
Solwezi West Member of Parliament Nicholas Mukumbi assured the public that the law will take its course.
