The family of Eneless Kamutumbe, who was murdered by a mob in Kisasa area of Kalumbila, has appealed for the removal of disturbing videos and images of the incident circulating on social media.
Her husband, Allan Ngoma, said the continued sharing of the footage is causing further trauma to the family, especially the children.
Mr. Ngoma has called on the Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority (ZICTA) to intervene and ensure the content is taken down to protect the dignity of the deceased and her loved ones.
He described his late wife as a caring and hardworking woman devoted to her family.
Ms. Kamutumbe is survived by her husband and six children.
