Tanzania’s Vice President Dr. John Nchimbi has arrived in Zambia for a two-day official visit.
Dr. Nchimbi touched down at 14:50 aboard Air Tanzania and was received at the airport by Zambia’s Health Minister Elijah Muchima.
Upon arrival, the visiting Vice President was treated to a warm reception that included traditional dances showcasing Zambia’s cultural heritage.
During his visit, Dr. Nchimbi is expected to participate in a high-level meeting focused on the revitalisation of the Tanzania-Zambia Railway Authority (TAZARA). He will be joined by China’s Premier Li Qiang, who is scheduled to arrive in Zambia later this evening.
