Vice President Mutale Nalumango says Zambia’s future prosperity depends on cooperation and shared values.
Mrs. Nalumango noted that this vision underpins President Hakainde Hichilema’s leadership, as he continues to ensure the country achieves inclusive growth and sustainable development.
Speaking at a side event in China, the Vice President pointed to the value of learning from China’s rich agricultural landscapes and strong record of environmental care.
She said Zambia can draw important lessons from these experiences and adapt them to strengthen its own development agenda.
Mrs. Nalumango emphasized that Zambia’s way forward will be shaped by mutual respect, collaboration, and the exchange of knowledge, ensuring that partnerships between nations bring real benefits to Zambians.
The Vice President is in China at the invitation of the Chinese Government, where she officiated at the 2025 World Green Development Investment and Trade Expo, alongside the China Green Food Expo taking place in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province.
