Government, through the Zambia Development Agency (ZDA), has signed three Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with United States companies in the areas of critical mineral processing, data sovereignty, and investment promotion.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by Zambia’s Ambassador to the United States, Chibamba Kanyama, at the Embassy of Zambia in Washington, D.C.
The agreements were signed between ZDA and Austin Elements, ZDA and Lucid Circuit, and ZDA and Busara Advisors Inc.
The partnership with Austin Elements is expected to strengthen Zambia–US relations at a strategic moment when the United States is diversifying and securing its critical mineral supply chains. Zambia has pledged to be a reliable partner in this effort, ensuring responsible mining, adherence to global sustainability standards, and the advancement of green energy technologies.
