Police Arrest Suspect, Recover Stolen Cattle in Mongu

Police in Mongu have arrested one suspect and recovered six head of cattle in Namushakende area of Mongu District, Western Province.
The animals, valued at K48,000, have since been identified by the owner and secured.
Western Province Police Commanding Officer Rae Hamoonga confirmed the arrest, identifying the suspect as 42-year-old Given Kamwengo, who was found in possession of the stolen cattle.
Mr. Hamoonga said two other suspects fled upon noticing police presence, and a manhunt has since been launched.
He further urged members of the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station.
