Copperbelt Traffic Division Collects K25 Million, Records Drop in Road Accidents

The Zambia Police Service Traffic Division on the Copperbelt has collected over K25 million in revenue through admissions of guilt from road traffic offences in 2025.
The division also recorded a 2.4 percent reduction in road traffic accidents, from 4,725 in 2024 to 4,612 in 2025.
Copperbelt Province Commanding Officer Mwala Yuyi said the statistics reflect the good work ethic and integrity of the traffic division. He added that the achievements highlight the significant contribution the police service makes to the national treasury.
Mr. Yuyi made the remarks at the Zambia Police Service Copperbelt Division 2025 Annual Ball held in Kitwe.
