Police in Limulunga District, Western Province, have arrested two suspects for allegedly stealing four cattle.
The incident occurred on December 18, 2025, after officers received a tip-off from a local company abattoir. Acting on the information, police rushed to the abattoir and apprehended the suspects.
Western Province Police Commanding Officer Rae Hamoonga identified the suspects as Pascal Nawa of Samunyingi Village and Kachana Mulonda of Mbonge Village, both in Lukulu District.
Mr. Hamoonga confirmed that the stolen cattle were recovered, and investigations revealed they had been taken from Kandiana Village in Lukulu, where the matter had earlier been reported to police.
