President Hakainde Hichilema has conveyed a message of condolence to Fisheries and Livestock Minister Peter Kapala following the death of his wife, Charity Kapala, who passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025.
Through Chief Government Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa, the President said the Government and the people of Zambia stand with Mr. Kapala during this difficult time, wishing him God’s strength and comfort.
President Hichilema emphasized that the government is mourning together with the bereaved family, underscoring solidarity and compassion in the face of loss.
