Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Splash International aimed at rehabilitating selected schools to improve learning conditions.

The partnership also seeks to safeguard the well‑being of pupils, particularly in areas of water and sanitation.

Ministry of Education Permanent Secretary for Educational Services, Dr. Kelvin Mambwe, said the collaboration demonstrates what can be achieved when government partners with the private sector.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr. Mambwe noted that the agreement signals a collective determination to ensure every Zambian child learns in a safe, healthy, and dignified environment.

Splash International President Eric Stowe said his organization’s goal is to ensure that all schools have access to clean water.
