Leader of the Opposition Robert Chabinga says the safest choice Zambians can make is to trust President Hakainde Hichilema’s leadership and sound policies.
Mr. Chabinga was speaking when over 342 ward officials from the Patriotic Front (PF) in Chama district joined the United Party for National Development (UPND).
He said the move by the people of Chama reflects the developments they have witnessed in the country since the UPND assumed power.
Receiving the defectors, UPND Eastern Province Chairman Peter Phiri urged both old and new members to work together in unity.
Meanwhile, Chama South Member of Parliament Davison Mung’andu pledged to collaborate with the UPND in efforts to develop the district.
