Tonse Alliance President Brian Mundubile has been arrested and charged with aiding, abetting, and counselling to commit hate speech.
Mr. Mundubile has, however, been released on police bond and is expected to appear in court soon.
This is according to a statement issued to ZNBC News in Lusaka by Police Deputy Public Relations Officer Chipo Kaitisha.
Ms. Kaitisha reiterated that the Zambia Police Service remains committed to upholding the rule of law and combating all forms of cyber-related offences.
