HH Thanks SDA for Supporting Health, Education

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has expressed gratitude to the Seventh Day Adventist Church –SDA- and other churches in Zambia for supporting government efforts in the education and health sectors.

The Head of State has also thanked the church for its continued work in preaching the gospel and saving souls.

President HICHILEMA has called on ZAMBIANS to uphold family unity as the foundation of the nation, urging husbands and wives to support one another and instil discipline in their children.

He says discipline is essential for raising future leaders who will resist corruption.

The President was speaking in LUSAKA today during the Building Promotion Day at the KABULONGA SDA Church.

He also pledged financial support towards the completion of building projects at the church.

Meanwhile, SDA Southern Zambia Union Conference President VANNY MUNYUMBWE commended President HICHILEMA for inspiring ZAMBIANS to engage in agriculture and pastoral farming.

Dr. MUNYUMBWE said the President has demonstrated practical leadership in both governance and private enterprise.

He also praised President HICHILEMA for implementing numerous development and infrastructure projects since assuming office in 2021, citing the RUSANGU Mission Road in MONZE district as an example.

In a sermon, SDA Woodlands Conference Executive Secretary JOHNNIE NAMWAKO lauded President HICHILEMA and his administration for guiding the nation during the 2024 drought.

Dr. NAMWAKO said the President encouraged ZAMBIANS to seek the face of God at the height of the crisis.
