Football fans in Lusaka have expressed confidence in the Copper Queens’ chances of progressing to the semi-finals of the ongoing WAFCON.
MUSANDA KAMBAFWILE says he is confident the team will put up a strong performance.
He has however, noted the need for improvement in the midfield and defensive areas, urging the team to remain focused and determined as they prepare for the crucial encounter against Nigeria.
Another fan, CHAMA BULANGETI, says the pace and intensity at which the Copper Queens have been playing gives supporters renewed hope of bringing the WAFCON title home.
Meanwhile, EMMANUEL MUTUTA has encouraged the team to maintain the same level of confidence and energy they displayed at the start of the tournament, adding that such consistency will yield positive results.
The Copper Queens are set to face Nigeria in the WAFCON quarter finals this Friday.
