The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has appointed Charles Chakatazya and Dr. George Magwende to the management of national teams with immediate effect.
Chakatazya will oversee team management, while Dr. Magwende will take charge of medical matters.
FAZ General Secretary Machacha Shepande, announcing the appointments, said they are aimed at addressing gaps identified in the preparation of national teams for key assignments.
He confirmed that both officials will immediately join the Chipolopolo, who are preparing for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Mr. Shepande also announced the formation of a Medical Committee, comprising Dr. Magwende, Dr. Masiku Phiri, Dr. Muyunda Mukubesa, Chikonde Mbalazi, and Gibson Chaloba.
