The Constitution Amendment Bill Number 7 will go for second reading in the National Assembly on December 15, 2025.
Acting Leader of Government Business and Defense Minister Ambrose Lufuma informed the House that the Committee Stage for the Bill will follow on December 16, 2025.
Mr. Lufuma made the announcement while delivering the business statement for the period December 9–16, 2025.
The Bill is currently before a select committee, tasked with scrutinizing its provisions and receiving submissions from members of the public as well as stakeholder interest groups.
