CHABOTA Retains Mr. Zambia 2025 Title

Defending champion NELSON CHABOTA has retained his Mr. ZAMBIA 2025 title for the fourth consecutive year.

Speaking after being crowned Mr. ZAMBIA 2025 last night, CHABOTA said he was proud of his performance, adding that veteran bodybuilder SYLVESTER MWILA’s return raised the level of competition.

He said the challenge pushed him to work harder as he now turns his attention to pursuing a professional career.

The contest also saw WILLIAM SICHONE finish second, while MWILA, who made a notable return from retirement, claimed third place.

ROSE MWAPE – Ms. Zambia

In the women’s category, ROSE MWAPE was crowned Ms. Zambia after winning the women’s wellness division.

Speaking during the event held at the Government Complex in Lusaka, Youth, Sport and Arts Minister ELVIS NKANDU praised the federation for its continued efforts to develop bodybuilding in the country.

In a speech delivered on his behalf by Sports Director GIBSON MUYAULE, NKANDU said government remains committed to supporting the growth of various sports disciplines, including bodybuilding.

ZBFF President ANDROS KUMWENDA expressed delight with the turnout and the standard of competition, noting that the federation is working to further elevate the championship.

He said plans are in place to open the event to participants from other countries in future editions.
