The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has rescheduled its 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) from April 11 to May 9, 2026.
This is according to a notice dated February 22, 2026, issued by FAZ General Secretary Machacha Shepande.
Mr. Shepande explained that the decision was made to ensure key statutory and governance processes linked to the AGM documentation are met. He said the Executive Committee resolved to shift the date to allow for the completion of procedural requirements and to ensure that all affiliates are given adequate time to review circulated materials.
He emphasized that the decision was taken to safeguard the integrity of FAZ’s governance processes and to ensure full compliance with the Constitution.
