The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) is exploring the option of registering schools on its system as part of efforts to develop football from the grassroots.
Provincial FAZ Chairperson Patrick Nyirenda said the initiative will help nurture young talent and strengthen early football development structures.
Mr. Nyirenda made the remarks in Chipata, Eastern Province, when FAZ donated 60 footballs to the Provincial Education Office, earmarked for schools.
Meanwhile, Eastern Province Education Officer Brainley Malambo emphasized the need to nurture talent from a tender age, noting that schools play a critical role in shaping future athletes.
