Veteran broadcaster Kenneth Maduma has been laid to rest at the family farm in Chieftainess Mungule’s area in Chisamba, Central Province.
Mr. Maduma, aged 73, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025, after an illness.
Speaking at the burial, Central Province Minister Mwabashike Nkulukusa praised Mr. Maduma for serving the country diligently both at home and abroad, including his tenure as Zambia’s Deputy Ambassador to Egypt.
Earlier, ZNBC Director-General Berry Lwando, represented by Director of Engineering Bright Nkaka, described Mr. Maduma as a dependable broadcaster who mentored many young journalists.
In a tribute delivered through her cousin Febby Kangwa, widow Gracious Maduma remembered her late husband as a loving and gentle man.
