Tourism Minister Rodney Sikumba says Government stands ready to support initiatives aimed at growing the country’s economy through business partnership.
Speaking when he graced the annual American chamber of commerce in Zambia (AMCHAM) Golf Day Mr. Sikumba says initiatives such as the Amcham create an opportunity for partnerships between Zambian and American companies thereby giving an opportunities for Zambian companies to tap into the American market in-turn contributing to economic growth of the country.
Mr. Sikumba says government prioritises such initiative and will endeavour to ensure that challenges that are faced by such initiatives are addressed.
And speaking at the same event AMCHAM president Lowani Chibesa Kunda said observed that there are several opportunities that must take advantage of such as the such as the Prosper Africa which is a presidential-level national security initiative aimed at strengthening the strategic and economic partnership between the united states and Africa.
Ms Chibesakunda says initiative aims at establishing transformative two way trade and investment flows.
